Welcome to Thimeo Audio Technology. We make audio processing software and hardware for broadcasters, recording and mastering studios, podcasters, video producers, vloggers — really, anyone who cares about great sound. Our technology is used in over 115 countries, and beyond our own products it’s often quietly under the hood of other well-known hardware and software products through our licensing and OEM partnerships.
We're based in the Netherlands, and you may know us best from our three flagship products. Stereo Tool is our software audio processor, used by thousands of FM and AM stations, more than 10,000 streaming stations, and countless DAB+, HD, and TV broadcasters. Perfect Declipper is used by many sound engineers, including multiple Grammy Award-winning sound engineers. They use it to restore clipped audio, removing distortion, and recovering lost dynamics. MicroMPX sends the complete FM composite signal — pilot, RDS and all — to transmitter sites over IP at just 320 kbit/s.
Our technology is used by podcasters, vloggers, and video production houses around the world to create clean, professional sound. Major streaming services use Thimeo technology to polish their entire audio catalogs.
Our product portfolio covers the whole broadcast chain. ST-Enterprise runs up to 50 processing instances on a single PC, while STXtreme is our dedicated hardware audio processor. Other products include WatchCat, STudio, MultiVOC, and PhoneBooster round things out with file-based processing, low-latency studio monitoring, multi-microphone processing, and AI-based telephone audio reconstruction.
